Sorry In Advance / Casting: you

They grow
up so fast.

An album in just over a year. A very serious commercial. Your completely straight face.

We’re making a little commercial for our upcoming album, and we’d love you in it. The idea: people from different places talk about us like they’ve watched us grow up. Sweet at first. A little ridiculous when we put it all together.

How to join
The three members of Sorry In Advance in white shirts
The children in question.
One phone. One line. Absolutely no laughing.

01 / The idea

Talk about us.
Like proud family.

Say “They grow up so fast” in your own words, in your native language. Or start with “I remember when…” and make it your own.

Imagine you’re being interviewed for a very serious documentary about three guys you’ve watched grow up. Be proud, nostalgic, a little concerned, whatever feels natural. The serious delivery is the joke.

Aim for 3–5 seconds of speaking. One line is enough; a couple of different takes are welcome. You don’t need to know us personally or tell a real story. You’re playing along.

02 / Steal a line

A little inspiration.

Pick one, translate it naturally, or write your own. Keep the words innocent and the face serious.

“They grow up so fast.”
“I remember when they were so little.”
“In the beginning, there were only two. And then suddenly… three.”
“Honestly, I didn’t think they’d last this long.”
“They’re getting bigger every day.”
“My mum can’t stop talking about them.”
“I’m just so proud.”

Your language. Your version.

Native tongue encouraged.

Swedish, French, Spanish, German, whatever language feels like you. Don’t worry about a word-for-word translation.

If you film in any language other than Swedish or English, please record the same line in English too. A second clip or a second take in the same video is perfect. It helps us understand your line and add English subtitles.

03 / Hit record

Phone out.
Straight face.

A kitchen, an office, a pub, a bedroom, the street. Different backgrounds make it better. A phone is all you need.

  1. Turn your phone sideways. Film horizontally. 4K at 30fps is great if available; your normal camera setting is fine too.
  2. Frame yourself from the chest up. Look into the camera or slightly off to the side, like an interview.
  3. Find some light and a quiet spot. We need to see your face and hear your voice. No fancy setup needed.
  4. Deliver it seriously. Keep a straight face. No laughing, winking, or explaining the joke.
  5. Leave a little breathing room. Record 2–3 seconds before and after your line.
  6. Send the original. No filters, music, subtitles, or edits. We’ll handle those.

04 / Send it our way

Your five seconds.
Our next chapter.

Upload your original video through Dropbox. No Dropbox account needed. Other people won’t be able to browse your submission.

Include your Instagram handle in the filename if you’d like a credit. If you made an English take, upload that too.
