Heartbreak. Growing up. Bad timing. The words people never quite say out loud.
Sorry In Advance is a Swedish/Canadian pop-punk band based in Vancouver.
Hampus brings guitars and vocals; Boomer brings drums and production; Devo brings the bass. We write and create together, recording at Glory Wreck Chords, our own studio and label.
We write songs that balance honest emotion with self-aware humor - music that feels personal without taking itself too seriously.
The songs live in the space between what people feel and what they actually say: missed chances, late-night overthinking, and the moments that seem small until they stay with you for years.
What we grew up on
We grew up on the pop punk of the ’90s and early 2000s: Green Day, blink-182, The Offspring, Sum 41, New Found Glory, Good Charlotte, Simple Plan, and Yellowcard. That love of big hooks and loud guitars runs through Sorry In Advance, in our own songs about growing up, bad timing, and saying the wrong thing.
